Nature Link Resorts is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and uphold our commitment to excellence in hospitality and connecting our guests with nature. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a resort setting, with a proven track record of success in managing operations. The General Manager must also have experience driving revenue, experience with booking platforms and systems, is technology driven, has amazing guest satisfaction ratings, and is a great team developer. As a General Manager, you will work directly with our staff on a day to day basis, and weekly with the ownership team as we continue to build more phases into our resort. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, enhance guest experiences, and drive revenue growth. Operational Management : Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and guest services, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and regulations. Guest Satisfaction : Foster a culture of exceptional guest service and satisfaction, continuously seeking opportunities to exceed guest expectations and address any concerns or feedback promptly and effectively. Financial Management : Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Sales Focus : Oversee and drive sales efforts to hit and exceed our sales goals for the year by working with our in house marketing and sales team. Team Development : Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, and providing opportunities for training and professional growth. Quality Assurance : Maintain and uphold the resort's standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. In Person Position : This is an in person position with peak summers requiring 40 hours per week. Construction/Owner facilitation : As we continue to build more phases at this resort, the GM will be involved in owners meetings with contractors, design meetings, and help keep projects moving along with detailed items such as ensuring new construction is fully ready to be rented on opening dates. Marketing and Sales : Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests, increase occupancy rates, and enhance the resort's brand reputation. Community Engagement : Build positive relationships with the local community, employees, guests, catering and beverage partners, activity partners, and is an upstanding example to the community of our company's values and mission. Focus on Luxury : continuous improvement on a Luxury property and creating a Luxury experience for our guests. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort environment. 3 years hospitality sales experience Technology forward individuals with experience in excel, hospitality platforms, and social media. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization. Solid understanding of hospitality operations, industry trends, and best practices. Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation initiatives. Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in managing a premium or Luxury property Certification in hospitality management (e.g., CHA, CHRM) is a plus. Proficiency in "Traction EOS - Entrepreneurial Operating System" is a plus.
